Summary This story is about a boy on his way to visit his father after learning about a secret that caused his parents divorce; when his plane crashes and he is the only survisor. Brian has to survive alone in the wilderness with the bugs, critters, moose and the elements. 
Description of how you would use the book I have used this story to teach flashbacks, story elements. While reading this book with  my class, I also discussed survival strategies, Canadian wilderness, and divorce.
